Gus

Gus became part of the family in January, 1991. He was Bud's best friend at first sight and learned the ropes from him. They stuck together like glue. We used to call them blood and guts. After Bud passed, Gus went on to be Looey's mentor. Like most Dachshunds, Gus had a fiery temper, was intelligent, loyal and fun to be around. He had no fear and stuck up for his buddies, human and hound. He knew all of the important English language words and did things naturally. He was much bigger than his physical size. He had many admirable traits that would be good for some humans to adopt.
